I just read that you are the creator of the Global Read Aloud! Wow! I also read that you loved and read The One and Only Ivan and I wanted to share with you that I am thinking of doing a Global PBL using that book. I will keep you posted if you like. I need to talk to Michael Graffin, the Global Classroom Projects creator, but I think he will go for it! Here is a link to my blog: http://communicateconnectsupport.wordpress.com/ Thank you for being so inspiring and sharing your brain, but more importantly, a piece of your heart! :)

We absolutely loved and adored The One and Only Ivan last year and have so many resources on our Wiki for it http://www.globalreadaloud.wikispaces.com – what an incredible book to do a PBL project on. I truly think that book took the GRA to a new level of amazingness. Thank you for reading my blog, I am so thankful for you.

    Pernille,
I am looking for a document you shared through your blog last year. The blog was about reflecting on our practice. The document was a way for teachers to reflect titled something like… Would I want to be a student in my own class? the link I had is no longer working… could you repost that or send me a copy? shstepp@lexington1.net
So excited about the GRA… I am a librarian now and have 8 second grade classrooms that want to participate! YEAH

Hmm, are you sure it was a document or was it a blog post. It doesn’t ring a bell at the moment but I would love to help out.
